COVID-19 Community & Workforce Protection Plan

This plan contains action plans and items which have or will be put into effect in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, State of Alaska mandates and Executive Orders issued to date, best practices as noted by the medical and processor communities, and the input of the local communities in which NSEDC operates. It is the goal of NSEDC for this plan to safeguard the community populations, company employees and other stakeholders in the communities in which NSEDC operates.

Newsletters

NSEDC produces a newsletter highlighting the projects and activities in the Norton Sound region and distributes it to our 15 member communities.

Quarterly Reports

NSEDC submits quarterly reports to the NSEDC Board Members and liaisons, and the city governments in the 15 member communities, reporting on our progress towards our goals, objectives, and milestones, and information on our CDQ fishing activities.

Annual Reports

NSEDC produces an annual report summarizing our projects, programs and financial position and distributes it to our 15 member communities.

Decennial Review Report

NSEDC submitted its Decennial Review report covering 2006-2010 to the State of Alaska in November 2012. Reports for all the CDQ groups can be found on the Alaska Department of Commerce’s website.

Representing 15 member communities and more than 9,200 people in the Bering Strait region of Northwestern Alaska.
